Who am I ?
I’m an independent heat pump specialist focused on performance, optimisation, and long-term efficiency, I have been installing heat pumps in the UK and Europe for over 25 years.
With decades of hands-on experience in system design, commissioning, diagnostics, and real-world troubleshooting, I go beyond standard compliance and generic advice.
My work is grounded in data, system behaviour, experience and practical application — not theory alone.
Next Climate Consulting exists to help people, bridge the gap between installation and true performance. I analyse, refine, and optimise heating systems so they operate as they were always meant to: stable, efficient, and intelligently controlled.
Real Problems, Real Stories — We Hear Them Every Day
If you spend even a short time browsing forums, social media, or review sites, you’ll quickly see a pattern: there are countless stories from homeowners and businesses frustrated by how their heat pump actually performs, this is not the HEAT PUMP, most of this will be down to poor design, over engineered installations
Some common themes include:
❌ Unexpectedly high electricity bills despite “efficient” equipment
❌ Short-cycling and on/off behaviour that wears components and wastes energy
❌ Poor comfort or uneven temperatures across rooms
❌ Flow temperatures left too high — often because of generic settings or lack of tuning
❌ Control strategy conflicts, leading to erratic behaviour or unnecessary system stress
❌ Installers who call it “done” once it runs — but who never optimise performance
These aren’t isolated complaints — they’re common, well-documented, and shared by owners of both new and older systems.
You only have to go to forums like https://renewableheatinghub.co.uk/ to see what state the industry is in.
Some heat pumps are installed with good intentions but left misconfigured. Others are set up with generic defaults and never tuned to the specific home or use case. And far too many homeowners are told “it’ll sort itself out over time” — only to be disappointed or confused when it doesn’t.
That’s where I come in.
I don’t treat your system as “working if it runs”.
I look at how it runs — in real conditions — and how it could run better.
Because performance should match expectations, not fall short of them.
I’m truly an independent with years of experience in this field.
